There is no fee for cancelling with greater than 24 hours of notice. If you need to cancel your appointment please do so by phone and leave a message. Should you cancel late or not attend your session you are responsible for the full session fee.  Extenuating circumstances may be taken into consideration.

Fees

My current fee is $140 CDN for one hour. This includes 50 minutes face to face and 10 minutes for documentation.  Prolonged Exposure sessions for the treatment of PTSD are 90 minutes and require additional fees. Full payments are accepted at the end of each session in the form of cheques and cash only (cheques are payable to "Janet Roloson"). I do not accept debit or credit card transactions at this time. Services are considered a tax-deductible medical expense.

Most extended health care plans will cover employees and family members for counselling by a Registered Psychologist. You may be required to pay this cost up front. Please ensure you retain a record of your receipts. Find out if you are eligible for coverage by contacting your HR department. I am a registered provider with Blue Cross Medavie, Solareh, Health Canada, and ComPsych.
